Marketing campaigns should not consist of just one or two things, like e-mails and maybe a newsletter. If you want to get people in, you need to put together a campaign that consists of many different aspects. Thus, you need to plan. Study after study has shown that it takes repeated exposures to your ads for them to really make a dent in most people’s consciousness, since they’re besieged by so much information these days. To be most profitable you need: • A site with landing pages and separate sales pages. • E-mail autoresponders that you offer for free which give valuable info (and, of course, a small ad at the bottom.) One popular format is to make a mini-course out of them. • Ezines that people can subscribe to. • E-mail newsletters, complete with catchy photos and layout.Trial and error is the best technique for success with Internet marketing. Test and modify new ideas to be original. If you wish to venture outside the online realm, you could add in direct mail and ads in hardcopy print media.
